What I shipped in October
October systems note. Real-time sanctions adjacency, Russian and Mandarin source-language reading, brief generator rebuild.
New: real-time sanctions adjacency layer.
Built the cross-reference engine for client files against newly-published sanctions designations. Currently runs at about four minutes from OFAC publication to potential alert in the team queue. Aim for the rewrite is 90 seconds.
New: Russian and Mandarin source-language reading.
Yelena and Wei were already reading in source language by hand. The system now does first-pass parsing and translation for surface-level relevance scoring. They still read the actual document if it scores above the threshold.
Rebuilt: the morning brief generator.
Sharper. Shorter. More member-specific. Clients have noticed.
