Our quarterly calibration
Once a quarter we score everything we did and adjust how the team reads.
Every read is logged.
When we send something to a member, we log: what was sent, what source it came from, what we said, and what we recommended. The log is for us. Clients never see it.
At the close of the quarter we score it.
Three categories. Reads where we were right. Reads where we were wrong. Reads where we held the answer because we didn't have enough confidence. We track how often each category happens and whether the rates are moving.
What we do with the score.
If we were systematically wrong about a class of read, we look at the source, the framing, and the discipline that produced it. The scoring informs the next quarter's reading. The discipline is internal because it is meant to change the work, not be marketed.
