What a Residence Check actually involves
A quiet walk through the optional module.
We come quietly.
Residence Check is an add-on module rather than something we do at every tier. It involves spending a few hours at the named residence, usually one of us, sometimes a trusted partner, looking at the connected systems.
The inventory.
Smart-home hubs. IoT cameras. Voice assistants. Connected appliances. Network gear. Connected vehicles parked at the residence. A list of everything that has an IP address. Each item gets a hygiene check, firmware, default credentials, network segmentation, exposure to the open internet.
The note.
Within four weeks you get a written summary. What's healthy, what isn't, what we'd suggest. We don't fix things ourselves. We tell you what to ask whoever installed it.
