Standing tier escalation patterns, three months of data
What actually triggers an urgent voice escalation, and what does not.
Most days have zero escalations.
Across our active Standing client base in Q1 of 2026, the median day had zero voice escalations. The mean was 0.4 escalations per active client per month. Real-time encrypted-channel alerts ran higher, in the 2 to 5 per client per month range.
What triggered escalations.
Confirmed SIM-swap attempts in progress. Verified intrusion on a client-controlled account. Imminent designation impacting a counterparty on the file. Travel-day disruption requiring same-hour decision. Family-related identity exposure with material exfiltration risk. These are the recurring categories.
What does not trigger an escalation.
Daily monitoring noise. Routine sanctions list updates. Press cycles. Anything that reads as material but does not require a same-hour decision. The morning brief covers all of these. Voice escalation is for the cases where async will not do.
