I added a new sanctions feed to the system this week
Short technical note on something we expanded in the wealth-watch.
OFSI consolidated list, structured.
The UK's OFSI sanctions list updates frequently. The official feed is well-structured. We were already cross-referencing it manually. This week we hooked it into the automated watch layer so that any new designation that touches a client or a counterparty in their file flags within minutes.
What changed for clients.
Cover and Standing clients now get same-day notes on UK sanctions changes that touch their structures. Cover and above get same-day notes. Most of you will never see a hit. The clients for whom it matters most will see it in time to talk to their counsel.
Quiet expansion.
We do these expansions every couple of weeks. New broker network. New bank circular feed. New language pair. Each one closes a small gap. None are dramatic. Together they are the system.
